Day 1Delhi – Haridwar (220Kms / 6-7hr) Height: 310 MTS.

Meet our driver at Delhi airport /station/hotel/ home and drive to Haridwar. Check into the hotel arrival in Haridwar. Evening visit Mansa Devi Temple & Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Haridwar: The holy city of Haridwar translates to “Gateway to God,” and the breathtaking city, replete with temples, is a magnet for religious pilgrims from all over the globe. Religious festivals hold even further draw, and tourists can’t be helped but are compelled by the city’s aura of intense spirituality. Haridwar is one of the seven holiest places of the Hindus, located on the banks of River Ganges. The sheer numbers of people gathering around Har-Ki-Pauri Ghat give Haridwar a chaotic but reverent feel.

Day 2Haridwar – Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hr) Height: 1319 MTS.

The morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Rudraprayag & Devoprayag. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.

Guptakashi:- The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares. Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (priests) live in Guptkashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Gupt Kashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.

Guptkashi Weather – pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degree Celsius. Cold in winters.

Day 3Guptkashi - Kedarnath (32kms by road & 19 kms. Trek one way)

After early morning breakfast, we drive to Sonpryag, from where we trek to Kedarnath (3584 meters) (Ponies, dandies, and candies are available on direct payment basis). Amidst the dramatic mountain escapes of the majestic Kedarnath Range stands one of the twelve “Jyotirlingas” of Kadar Ji or Lord Shiva. At an altitude of 3584 Mts. and on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus. On arrival check in at the lodges. After freshening up, perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnath. Overnight at the hotel.

Special Instructions: Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath.

Day 04: Kedarnath/Sonpryag/Guptkashi (19 Kms Down Trek & 32 kms drive)

After breakfast check out from lodge & trek down to Sonpryag. We drive to Guptkashi and check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Guptkashi - Badrinath

After early breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Badrinath. On our way, we see the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers at Vishnuprayag. Encircled by a beautiful valley, on the banks of holy river Alaknanda. With the Neelakanth mountains as the backdrop. Badrinath Dham is one of the Holiest of the four shrines on the scared itinerary of every devours Hindu. On arrival check in at the hotel. After freshening up, proceed to visit :

Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the Pauranic commentaries.

The later vehicle will drop you at temple parking for Darshan of Badrivishal- one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries.

Thus the place got the name “Badri van”, meaning “forest of berries”. You may also explore Tapta Kund, Narad Kund & Brahma Kapal around the temple complex. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Badrinath - Srinagar (150 kms/6hr)

Early morning check out from hotel and drive to Srinagar, en-route visit temple of Dhari Devi (Dedicated to Devi Kali Mata)- Dhari Devi goddess is considered as the guardian deity of Uttarakhand located in Kalyasaur along the Srinagar -Badrinath Highway on the banks of the Alaknanda River in the Garhwal Region of Uttarakhand state. It is about 15 km from Srinagar Garhwal & 20 km from Rudraprayag.

Legend 2013 Uttarakhand flood – A manifestation of Goddess Kali, Dhari Devi is revered as the protector of the Char Dhams. When the idol of the deity was removed from her temple then after few hours a very severe cloudburst took place. As per the devotees, the place had to face the Goddess’ ire as she was shifted from her ‘Mool Sthan’ (original abode) to make way for a 330 MW hydel project. That project lies in ruins after the flood. A similar attempt in 1882 by a local king had resulted in a landslide that had flattened Kedarnath. Later continue drive to Srinagar is a fascinating old capital of Garhwal. It is an important cultural and Educational center. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel

Day 07: Srinagar Garwal – Haridwar (130 kms / 4 hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Rishikesh. On arrival check into respective hotel. After some relax visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula & Triveni Ghat. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

Day 08: Haridwar - Delhi (250 kms/ 05 hr)

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi, drop to Airport to board your flight you’re your onward destination.
